Greenhouse Blinds

Greenhouse blinds are difficult to design correctly due to the number of struts and braces often involved in the construction of large greenhouses. These need to be avoided to ensure the blinds do not abrade on them and surveying can therefore be complicated.

Pleated fabric is a hardwearing option and withstands cleaning; it is available in a variety of opacities and can include a UV reflective coating to prevent excessive heat build-up in the greenhouse. Roller blinds are also a common choice, with similar benefits to pleated blinds. For a high quality and elegant solution, Pinoleum blinds are ideal and can be supplied with solar reflective backing for added shading.
